The BCOIE Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club serves the Beach Cities, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties of Southern California. The BCOIE was founded in 1979 by John Tonrich, the chapter's first president, with a motto of "Family and Studebakers", which we still stress today. The BCOIE Chapter sponsors several events a year, including the La Palma Car Show every spring in Anaheim, California. The La Palma Car Show, started in 1975, is the largest all Studebaker show west of the Mississippi. The chapter is part of the Pacific Southwest Zone of the Studebaker Drivers Club, which includes California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii. The BCOIE offers technical support, parts and service information that can be found on this website. By joining our club and attending meetings and car shows you'll be exposed to the entire world of dedicated Studebaker enthusiasts who will be happy to help you keep your car on the road or just share stories about their hobby. The BCOIE Chapter also partisapates in events sponsored by the two other SDC Chapter's in Southern California (San Diego and Los Angeles). Read about the start of the Studebaker Club in Orange County, and a Brief History of the La Palma Meet.
