The BCOIE Chapter was founded in 1979 by John Tonrich, the chapter's first president, with a motto of "Family and Studebakers", which we still stress today.  The BCOIE Chapter sponsors several events a year, including the La Palma Car Show every spring in Anaheim, California.  The La Palma Car Show, started in 1974, is the largest all Studebaker show west  of the Mississippi.  

The BCOIE Chapter also participates in events sponsored by the two other SDC Chapter's in Southern California (San Diego and Los Angeles).  Members receive a monthly newsletter, The Sparkplug, which contains up to date chapter news and activities, articles and photos.  If you're interested, join us and become part of our Studebaker World.
